Second Wind Growth & Learning is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping combat veterans and first responders overcome the negative effects of PTSD. Founded by experienced professionals with backgrounds in counseling these communities, the organization provides specialized, trauma-informed and evidence-based treatments designed to help individuals and their loved ones heal, regain control, and move forward.
The Challenge
As a new organization, Second Wind Growth & Learning needed to establish a professional and trustworthy online presence that would clearly communicate its specialized approach to supporting veterans and first responders affected by PTSD. The challenge was to create a website that balanced the seriousness of its mission with a sense of hope, strength, and encouragement while making complex treatment information approachable and easy to understand for those seeking help.
